The homebuyer tax credit is part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act
signed by President Obama into law on Feb. 17, 2009. It was extended and
                    expanded on November 7, 2009.

The first time homebuyer tax credit provides for up to $8000 tax credit that would

The expanded credit now also provides up to $6500 credit to current
